Saturday September 13th 2008 is the day for the first ever Festival of Seafood and Music to be held in Brixham on the Fish Quay. All proceeds generated through the event will be donated to the Fishermen's Mission.
The day time event includes demonstrations of fishing cookery and Fabulous Fish Classes (courtesy of Manna from Devon) together with local fish and local food producers from across the South West. There will be a large variety of food producers offering samples of food and the chance to buy local food and drink that has originated from across the region. All the best that the South West has to offer will be exhibiting at FishstockBrixham on 13th September.
There will be an acoustic tent running during the day to include Margaret Duffy (performer), Johnny Dean (Dean of Exeter, Cathedral and Flanders & Swann performer), Steve Davis (guitarist), Paddy's Whiskers (Irish and jigs) and Beats of Polynesia (Music and Dancers).
The day time event hands over to a music festival throughout the evening which includes many top bands. The line up is as follows:-
