Seafood Cookery Demonstrations 2016
Chef and fishmonger demonstrations will take place throughout the day on the two “Food is Fun”, live theatre kitchen stages, fitted with overhead mirrors for better audience enjoyment and understanding of chef`s actions.

11-00: Richard Hunt of Devon Scones.
11-45: Mitch Tonks and Kirk Gosden from Rockfish: A seafood Masterclass
12-45: Nick Evans, Head Chef Lecturer at Rick Stein's Cookery School, presents a Masterclass.
13-45: Jamie Porter of Rick Stein's Cookery School presents seafood at its finest.
1430: Andy Sewell, Executive Head Chef at The Quayside Hotel, Brixham. 1530: David and Holly Jones of Manna from Devon with great seafood dishes. 16-15: Werner Rott from Old Vienna Restaurant, Torquay.

"Food is Fun" Kitchen Stage Two: 10.30: Fish Filleting by Channel Fisheries head fishmonger, Darren. 11.30: 12.30: David Galpin & S D College Chefs: Ready Steady Cook. 13.45:S Devon College Chefs. 14.30: David Galpin, David Berry & David Wells (S D College) will perform and invite members of the public to participate in Seafood Preparation & Cooking (David Galpin's team of chef tutors from South Devon College will lead classes of seafood preparation and cookery for local children from 1030 in the “Food is Fun" Marquee.

Brixham’s finest seafood home-cooks will run the Kitsons-Solicitors sponsored SeafoodPiazza, cooking up a storm of delicious seafood ranges, including smoked mackerel, Mexican fishcakes, breaded Sprats, scallops with Chorizo and much more to be sold throughout the day. All proceeds in aid of the Fishermen’s Mission. Fish supplied fresh from the Brixham fishermen members of SWFPO Ltd and thanks to Brixham Trawler Agents. These chefs are masters of their own home kitchens and their demonstrations will delight the crowds as well as the taste buds!
There will be many other fine Seafood outlets offering the finest of sustainably caught fresh fish from the English Channel, right on our doorstep!
